How does the Business Bridge Tutoring Programme work?

First, we train you

We take MBA alumni and individuals from the corporate sector and channel their energy and talents into developing the business success stories of tomorrow.

All new tutor applicants attend a challenging and world-class training workshop, led by Professor Hay of London Business School, before they are inducted as Business Bridge Fellows.

During their training, our Fellows learn the most cutting edge tutoring methods distilled from the most recent research in the area. The training also provides the forum in which tutors are introduced to our learning materials which have been designed by our dedicated pedagogy team. At The Business Bridge Initiative we stress that our faculty work best when they work together. We encourage our Fellows to share their experiences, support each other and play an active role in developing each other.

Then we support you in the classroom

Once out of the training classroom, our Fellows are put directly into the teaching classroom. Our Fellows co-teach classes of 25 students, providing each other with support and guidance in live teaching situations. Each of these sessions is delivered at the branch of one of our delivery partners, whom we will put you in touch with following your training.

In a year, a tutor might typically teach on 1 or 2 courses. However, the more sessions you deliver, the more you develop and the higher the quality your teaching. The commitment for each course would be a minimum of 2 x 4 hour classroom sessions over the duration of the 8 weeks of the course. As a Business Bridge Fellow, you can choose to teach either our How to Win Sales or Managing Money courses according to your interests and areas of expertise.
