Professor Hay is Professor of Management Practice in Strategic International Management and Entrepreneurship at the London Business School, one of the World’s pre-eminent business schools with more than 1,300 students from 121 countries and over 150 plus faculty.
Professor Hay joined the faculty of LBS in 1987 and, in his role as Director, oversees entrepreneurship research and supervises outreach programmes.
Professor Hay has extensive knowledge of the application of business education in both the developed and the developing world. He formerly chaired CIDA Foundation UK, the fundraising arm of the pioneering low cost business school in South Africa, of which he was the Acting Dean during 2008. He is also Co-director of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor.
Tom is the Head of Education and Training and is responsible for course development, building new strategic partnerships and fundraising. He joined Business Bridge following two years on the Teach First scheme; he is currently completing a part-time Masters degree in educational leadership.
Kim is the RSA Country Director of the Business Bridge Initiative, a role which she took on in March 2011, having tutored small business owners on Business Bridge programmes in South Africa since 2009.
She graduated from the University of Cape Town (UCT) with a B.Social Science (Economics and Industrial Psychology) and has a postgraduate diploma in Human Resources from the Department of Business Science.
Kim is passionate about leadership development and her involvement in the Business Bridge allows her to bring her skill set and experience to others in order to make a contribution to the growth of business skills in the informal sector in South Africa.
Vuyo is based in Cape Town and has over five years experience of running a range of business training courses and an intricate knowledge of the South African enterprise development landscape. She joined Business Bridge in August 2011.
