The Business Bridge

How we are funded

As a charity, The Business Bridge Initiative is dependent on financial and non-financial support to ensure sustainability.

Charitable Donations

A substantial proportion of our annual budget is raised from private sources through one-off and sustainable grants from businesses, charitable foundations and individual giving. These organisations get involved with The Business Bridge for a variety of reasons; some sponsor specific projects, others have affiliations with participating countries or a desire to support participants in specific areas.

Programme Fees

Students pay a nominal fee to take The Business Bridge programme. This money goes towards the cost of recruiting, and supporting our students. Programme fees are agreed in conjunction with our local partners on the basis that they are affordable for all and do not provide a financial barrier to enrolment.

Government

National and local governments pay a proportion of the on-going cost of programme delivery in their locality. The Business Bridge charges government on the basis that Business Bridge is the lowest cost provider of mass scale, quality, business education.

In-kind Support

The Business Bridge receives valuable non-financial support from its friends and sponsors. This includes office space, legal advice and consulting. Moreover, our Fellows give their time and effort pro-bono and form an integral part of the Business Bridge solution.
